La Gallardeta's Paulo Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 72nd minute of play. When Antonio Aguilera fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Antonio Aguilera a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Antonio Aguilera hit a great ball. Paulo Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes La Gallardeta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radowit Mondrowski who took care of the corner kick. Paulo Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 91st minute of play. Felipe Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
