The score was now 1-0. Colo-Colo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Benê Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Roland Vodanovic, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Quintén Barrios hit a great ball. After 16 minutes, Quintén Barrios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colo-Colo and the MINEIROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quintén Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naldo Baiano got free with Roland Vodanovic in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd match minute, Colo-Colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Irarrázaval to maneuver through the defense. Maicon Quintal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roland Vodanovic came out and tried to block the shot, but Maicon Quintal slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Naldo Baiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roland Vodanovic. That made the score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. Vágner Gaspar might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Vodanovic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vágner Gaspar ran back to his position shaking his head. Roland Vodanovic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maicon Quintal's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Roland Vodanovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico de Mendonça in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nico de Mendonça made a kick off. The supporters of MINEIROS booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lois Reveco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Quintén Barrios hit a great ball. Maicon Quintal took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Vodanovic. Roland Vodanovic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Andrés Warnes hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Andrés Warnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Nico de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vodanovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Leão to maneuver through the defense. Roland Vodanovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Roland Vodanovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico de Mendonça in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Nando Leão made a precise shot to the right of Roland Vodanovic. Colo-Colo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 81st minute, Juan Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quintén Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Nico de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colo-Colo's Roland Vodanovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Braga in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Juan Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vodanovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MINEIROS fully deserved thier win.
