Lourenço Velasques came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Mateus Ardines. But to his dismay, Mateus Ardines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Igrejas during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Francisco Igrejas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ɍυƒυs™ were furious when Francisco Igrejas was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ɍυƒυs™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Ɍυƒυs™:s Lourenço Velasques showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Sotelo:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Wilson Maciel got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Mateus Ardines left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Noel Carmo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ɍυƒυs™'s protests and gave Noel Carmo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Ɍυƒυs™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Carmo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Ardines in the 28th minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Lourenço Velasques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Mateus Ardines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ɍυƒυs™'s Lourenço Velasques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th match minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jenaro Salmanton to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Éder Brites stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ɍυƒυs™'s zone, Mateus Ardines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Velasques came out of the goal and Mateus Ardines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Mateus Ardines notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ɍυƒυs™'s Lourenço Velasques. Lourenço Velasques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lourenço Velasques made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Eduardo Lezarreta sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Eduardo Lezarreta got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Mateus Ardines came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Ardines couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Ɍυƒυs™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éder Brites to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Gervásio Lages got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Eduardo Lezarreta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lourenço Velasques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Popolizio FBC reached it. Lourenço Velasques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Ardines in the 76th minute of the match. Éder Brites hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Baladi Vellana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lourenço Velasques. Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ricardo Meira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vachon Trevino. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vachon Trevino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusmão Leiria in the 84th minute of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Vachon Trevino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gusmão Leiria in the 90th minute of play. Jenaro Salmanton lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 93 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Jenaro Salmanton. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Popolizio FBC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
