The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Ghionescu should have stopped the shot. Felix Ghionescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Wejta, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Constantin Muslea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Ghionescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Jucha in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Felix Ghionescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radomir Pryla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Maxim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Alin Maxim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zbigniew Galagan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Felix Ghionescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpia HSB. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpia HSB's Juliusz Patrylo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felix Ghionescu. That made the score 0-5 after 61 minutes of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Tymoteusz Wejta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felix Ghionescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zbigniew Galagan scored 0-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ghionescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
