In the 27th minute Edgar Pankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romário Ronaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Wincent Kiszkiel made a huge save. After having played for 34 minutes, Raí Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Tolek Falkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CKS Zbiersk's protests and gave Tolek Falkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Pankowski in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Raí Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wincent Kiszkiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 72 minutes into the match, CKS Zbiersk's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Yambao came free, but Wincent Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CKS Zbiersk getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tolek Falkiewicz hit a great ball. Clube Atlético Mineiro's Célio Valle couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CKS Zbiersk. In the 79th minute, Wlodzimierz Nakonieczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincent Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lamine Yambao in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Araújo in the 85th minute of play forced CKS Zbiersk's goalkeeper Wincent Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, CKS Zbiersk's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Couto came free, but Wincent Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, CKS Zbiersk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Golec to maneuver through the defense. Wincent Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
