Spectators: 8150 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 163) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Fraga started the match with the kick off. Thibault Mamardashvili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Pires went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC Fura Balizas booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Alexandre Pires notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of JFSP's Thibault Mamardashvili. Thibault Mamardashvili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maoz Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Pirani in the 14th minute of play. Julião Barcelos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Aníbal Pirani was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. JFSP's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of JFSP booed when FC Fura Balizas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Santiago. Thibault Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Alexandre Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibault Mamardashvili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, FC Fura Balizas's Tiago Fraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When César Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JFSP's protests and gave César Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Tiago Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fura Balizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ismael Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio Vilarinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Thibault Mamardashvili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC Fura Balizas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Danilo Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Fraga in the 53rd minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Thibault Mamardashvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maoz Ferro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Tiago Fragas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Thibault Mamardashvili to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Velloso during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ismael Velloso hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. João Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vivaldo Lira hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. FC Fura Balizas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
