The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tadeu do Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cholachat Coolcat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Gustavo Berger got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arí Sarmento. Arí Sarmento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when 王 江志锋 got free with Arí Sarmento in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Mazer took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cholachat Coolcat. Cholachat Coolcat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Mazer in the 19th minute of play. Pragmáticos 1903's Afonsinho Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pragmáticos 1903's Arí Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王 江志锋 in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when 王 江志锋 came free, but Arí Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Nässén's late challenge caught a Pragmáticos 1903's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Nässén helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Mathias Nässén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Tolsson during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Tolsson. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Mazer in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Mathias Nässén got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, David Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pragmáticos 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Börje Axelsson. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Gustavo Abud got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doug Las Casas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Karl-Oskar Högman fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pajala Sunrise's protests and gave Karl-Oskar Högman a yellow card for diving instead. Karl-Oskar Högman hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute Doug Las Casas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Mazer in the 53rd minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Cholachat Coolcat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, David Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pragmáticos 1903 and the Pajala Sunrise players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 王 江志锋 scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arí Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Rômulo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Rômulo Aguiar got a free kick in the 67th minute. David Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cholachat Coolcat having to interfere. Pragmáticos 1903's Gustavo Mazer got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Mazer struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cholachat Coolcat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pragmáticos 1903. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Roger Heggert replaced 王 江志锋. Pragmáticos 1903's Douglas Gustavo was substituted for Gustavo Mazer. Cholachat Coolcat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Gustavo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Börje Axelsson hit a great ball. Caio Barreto's late challenge caught a Pajala Sunrise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caio Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. Caio Barreto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Pragmáticos 1903's Douglas Gustavo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Caio Barreto. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pajala Sunrise fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pragmáticos 1903 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
