After 40 minutes, Adriano Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAZER SAF and the Pragmáticos 1903 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Arí Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ángel Romero. Adriano Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizinho Zonta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pragmáticos 1903's Afonsinho Amorim was substituted for Gustavo Abud. 64 minutes into the game, Gernando Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAZER SAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pragmáticos 1903 the free kick. Gernando Vianna hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Hélio Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matheus Donelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélio Soeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Matheus Donelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Amorim in the 94th minute of play.
