Spectators: 10000 (Terracing: 7500, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 200) Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Mauro Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Charles Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Cearense. Doni Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil dos Santos in the 11th minute of play. Doni Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Gil dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil dos Santos couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil dos Santos came free, but Doni Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Marques in the 25th minute of the match. Manoel Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Doni Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Adalberto Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castanheiro SC's Arnaldo Lago was substituted for Basílio Toledo. Adalberto Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Charles Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Alagoano in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Rafinha Sergipano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the Castanheiro SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the game, Eliézer Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doni Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 60 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Alagoano came free, but Charles Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Mauro Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Sarmento. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Castanheiro SC's Arnaldo Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Castanheiro SC's Jailson Esteves was substituted for Arnaldo Lago. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Perivaldo Pitta got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sarmento came free, but Charles Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Doni Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Marques. In the 92nd minute, Mauro Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil dos Santos in the 94th minute of play. Mauro Sarmento might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Sarmento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Sarmento ran back to his position shaking his head. Castanheiro SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
