The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 王 江志锋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SS SuperSonics booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Tolsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Larsson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Bambang Wiatr managed to get in a good position for a shot. SS SuperSonics's supporters rose to their feet, but Bambang Wiatr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cholachat Coolcat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doug Las Casas got free with Hugon Lenertej in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hugon Lenertej. Hugon Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 王 江志锋 in the 30th minute of the match. Doug Las Casas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Hugon Lenertej when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hugon Lenertej stood somewhat misplaced when Doug Las Casas came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Per-Arne Svartengren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, David Lindman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Tolsson to maneuver through the defense. Hugon Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 王 江志锋 in the 47th minute of play. SS SuperSonics made a substitution. Eugeniusz Mochowak replaced Dobromir Kempski. The corner ended in Sebastian Tolsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SS SuperSonics's Hugon Lenertej did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Korneliusz Panasewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, 王 江志锋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pajala Sunrise's Börje Skräddare was substituted for Henrik Tham. Hugon Lenertej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王 江志锋, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Cholachat Coolcat made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ganga Banga sent off a good shot on target. Ganga Banga took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cholachat Coolcat. Cholachat Coolcat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Roger Heggert replaced 王 江志锋. Roger Heggert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hugon Lenertej tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Roger Heggert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Wincenty Dranka with Korneliusz Panasewicz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hugon Lenertej didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doug Las Casas went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Hugon Lenertej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doug Las Casas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SS SuperSonics defense, Roger Heggert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Lenertej. The SS SuperSonics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Lenertej should have stopped the shot. 100 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Cholachat Coolcat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ganga Banga. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pajala Sunrise fans cheered their team off the field, for while SS SuperSonics had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
