The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tristram Gower could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Zheng Di Xi made a huge save. The supporters of Staffy Terrier FC booed when MDS Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Solecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tristram Gower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristram Gower who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Zheng Di Xi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zheng Di Xi stood somewhat misplaced when Tristram Gower came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Zheng Di Xi made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Tristram Gower sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zheng Di Xi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristram Gower. Ruy Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 26 in the game by Tristram Gower from a close distance when the talented Zheng Di Xi managed to make a qualified save. MDS Soccer Club's players were relieved. In the 26th match minute, Staffy Terrier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristram Gower to maneuver through the defense. Roman Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni de Sousa in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Koko Merdan. The nice shot from Tristram Gower in the 31stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Zheng Di Xi had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Vic Laverick came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Staffy Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vic Laverick couldn't finish the play. The corner led to Staffy Terrier FC's Vic Laverick getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Vic Laverick came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Staffy Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vic Laverick couldn't finish the play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Armandinho Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staffy Terrier FC's Roman Galsino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Vic Laverick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Di Xi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Milosz Solecki got a free kick in the 47th minute. MDS Soccer Club made a substitution. Lukasz Gmoch replaced Giovanni de Sousa. MDS Soccer Club's José Maria Mineiro was substituted for Armandinho Brasil. Milosz Solecki hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukasz Gmoch made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's José Maria Mineiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Galsino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Roman Galsino managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when MDS Soccer Club's Lukasz Gmoch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the game, José Maria Mineiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Galsino. José Maria Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Staffy Terrier FC's Oakley Smith was substituted for Huey Brodie. 68 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Gower came free, but Zheng Di Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristram Gower in the 69th minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zheng Di Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Milosz Solecki got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Staffy Terrier FC's Kamuran Şanalp was substituted for Ferdinando Braccia. In the 73rdth minute of the game Vic Laverick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukasz Gmoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Roman Galsino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Mineiro came free, but Roman Galsino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zheng Di Xi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristram Gower, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the MDS Soccer Club defense, Brice Gamble kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zheng Di Xi. The MDS Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zheng Di Xi should have stopped the shot. Vic Laverick took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zheng Di Xi. Zheng Di Xi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in MDS Soccer Club's zone, Tristram Gower stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zheng Di Xi came out of the goal and Tristram Gower tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zheng Di Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tristram Gower, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Tristram Gower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Di Xi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Staffy Terrier FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
