In the 2nd minute, Alejo Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pégasus F. C.'s Lu Xing Song got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Dwight Schrute made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xande Sharkin in the 9th minute of play. In the 18th minute Dwight Schrute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Poenaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes Sportivo Desamparados's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xande Sharkin who took care of the corner kick. 21 minutes into the match, Gianluca Toranzo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha. Umberto Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Sportivo Desamparados's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Albuquerque came free, but Ferdinand Poenaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Toranzo came free, but Umberto Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Lu Xing Song dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferdinand Poenaru, 2-1. In the 37th minute, Dwight Schrute fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lu Xing Song blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Poenaru having to make a save. A hard shot 46 in the game by Lu Xing Song from a close distance when the talented Ferdinand Poenaru managed to make a qualified save. Sportivo Desamparados's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Gianluca Toranzo made the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Poenaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Sharkin in the 52nd minute of the match. Ferdinand Poenaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dwight Schrute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Toranzo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Ferdinand Poenaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Xing Song in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Dwight Schrute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Poenaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Jonas Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le was substituted for Dwight Schrute. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Desamparados's Jonas Paublo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Pégasus F. C.'s Lu Xing Song in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Desamparados's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Sportivo Desamparados booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xande Sharkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qiao Ang Le scored 3-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Poenaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferdinand Poenaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Sharkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Lu Xing Song managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pégasus F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lu Xing Song was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferdinand Poenaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Medeiros in the 85th minute of play. Gianluca Toranzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by King Chiellini during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. King Chiellini hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Bebeto Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ferdinand Poenaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégasus F. C.. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pégasus F. C. had played much better football throughout.
