Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Sharkin in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Xande Sharkin came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão got control of the ball when Lu Xing Song tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Elpidio Chap cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Umberto Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo José Barral struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Amado Jordão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégasus F. C.. 17 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Xing Song. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 23rd minute of play. Punk Fiction's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evelio Federigo in the 24th minute. The corner led Punk Fiction's Evelio Federigo to fire away a dangerous shot which Umberto Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Sharkin in the 37th minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Punk Fiction booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chupan Mangas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Punk Fiction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Chap to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Umberto Cunha was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Gilberto Nayely capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Nayely really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 54 played minutes Punk Fiction got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Chap. Jones Cudmore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amado Jordão. Punk Fiction's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Sharkin in the 60th minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Abelardo Tancredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pégasus F. C. made a substitution. Bebeto Medeiros replaced Hílton Albuquerque. Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le was substituted for Dwight Schrute. After 65 played minutes, Pégasus F. C.'s Gilberto Soeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amado Jordão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pégasus F. C. reached it. After 67 minutes of play, Pégasus F. C.'s Xande Sharkin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Jordão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th match minute, Pégasus F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chupan Mangas to maneuver through the defense. Lu Xing Song fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Jordão having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilberto Nayely kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Umberto Cunha. That made the score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. A collision led to Pégasus F. C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Qiao Ang Le hit a great ball. Umberto Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jones Cudmore's late challenge caught a Punk Fiction's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jones Cudmore helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Pégasus F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Jones Cudmore. Punk Fiction were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Pégasus F. C.'s much stronger midfield.
