MANIACOS's Urdaspal Angeriz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gil Gouveia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gil Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colon Averasturi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes, Tiago Ventura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aveiro FC and the MANIACOS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
