Federico Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Galiana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, one of Astillero del Guayas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Federico Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Svan in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando got control of the ball when Amin Kurd tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute Jeronimo Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Yuan De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Svan to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Svan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 51 minutes, Mattias Svan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Astillero del Guayas's Ulizes Sola got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeronimo Bertin took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Long Yuan De. Long Yuan De dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 60th minute, Rosendo Todor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Long Yuan De tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Mattias Svan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Normando. Bendito Sea El Fernet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Svan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Salz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Salz in the 75th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Bertin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Long Yuan De saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amin Kurd in the 80th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amin Kurd in the 86th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amin Kurd scored 3-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Normando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amin Kurd to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Amin Kurd came free, but Federico Normando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Astillero del Guayas fully deserved thier win.
