The RamPa Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when RamPa Football Club's Nicu Alexandrescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Konrad Knopek made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Portus Ganda defense, Nicu Alexandrescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Vanbuyten. The Portus Ganda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Vanbuyten should have stopped the shot. RamPa Football Club's Francesco Granata was substituted for Long Ke Yang.
