In the 13th minute of the match Ovidijus Rajeckas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Axel Jansson skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Sidro got free with Egidijus Petukas in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egidijus Petukas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Sidro's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Robertas Achilas came free, but Karl-Axel Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Nadruvis's Danas Pyragis to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Axel Jansson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20th minute Vygandas Morkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A.Independiente's Karl-Axel Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vygandas Morkus in the 20th minute of play. Karl-Axel Jansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daumantas Navikas's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Adolfo Sidros short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Egidijus Petukas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 51st match minute, C.A.Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Sidro to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Axel Jansson made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Vygandas Morkus sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Nadruvis's Vygandas Morkus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 61 minutes into the game, Fabian Ipar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Egidijus Petukas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, Hieronim Ledochowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nadruvis the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Hieronim Ledochowski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A hard shot by Danas Pyragis from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Karl-Axel Jansson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A hard shot 70 in the game by Daumantas Navikas from a close distance when the talented Karl-Axel Jansson managed to make a qualified save. C.A.Independiente's players were relieved. When Danas Pyragis fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nadruvis's protests and gave Danas Pyragis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Danas Pyragis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Gonsalve was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nadruvis's Egidijus Petukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Sidro in the 76th minute of play. A beautiful save bye Nadruvis's goalie prevented a goal. Fabian Ipar spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Nadruvis's goal. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Moises Bladi replaced Carlitos Prezioso. If Daumantas Navikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titas Dilys's late challenge caught a C.A.Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Titas Dilys helped the player get up and apologised. Titas Dilys kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Egidijus Petukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Bladi in the 95th minute of the match. The Nadruvis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nadruvis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
