In the 9th match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Breguete FC's Roderick van Boxel got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, DanVict FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Paulista came free, but Lenílson Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Eugênio de Carvalho made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. DanVict FC's Lenílson Mello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Eugênio de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Lenílson Mello managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Breguete FC's Eugênio de Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lenílson Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 25th minute of the match. Antônio Paulista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenílson Mello having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugênio de Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lenílson Mello. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 32nd minute Eugênio de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tarcisio Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. DanVict FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tarcisio Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Lenílson Mello managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Breguete FC's Eugênio de Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39th minute Breguete FC were awarded a corner. Valdir Loureiro went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Breguete FC's corner Valdir Loureiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lenílson Mello quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderick van Boxel got free with Lenílson Mello in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugênio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lenílson Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tarcisio Leal was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Eugênio de Carvalho notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of DanVict FC's Lenílson Mello. Lenílson Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th minute Antônio Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugênio de Carvalho in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lenílson Mello saved DanVict FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugênio de Carvalho in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lenílson Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Lenílson Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 64th minute of play. Breguete FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after DanVict FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdir Loureiro took the corner. Breguete FC's Valdir Loureiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lenílson Mello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lenílson Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugênio de Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, DanVict FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roderick van Boxel came free, but Lenílson Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Mello came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Breguete FC's Eugênio de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Eugênio de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Lenílson Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugênio de Carvalho went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. If Roderick van Boxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 88th minute, but Artur Pernambucano got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Breguete FC hanging dry this time. Eugênio de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Eugênio de Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenílson Mello was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Breguete FC had played much better football throughout.
