The audience thought a goal was coming when Nic Adams got free with Alfred Tingelholm in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sylven Rymenans might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfred Tingelholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sylven Rymenans ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when Blåränderna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Kielstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoachim Rijniers to maneuver through the defense. Gert Björklund hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Sylven Rymenans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylven Rymenans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Tingelholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nic Adams got free with Alfred Tingelholm in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sylven Rymenans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alfred Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Blåränderna got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Kielstedt. George Unesson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Alfred Tingelholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nic Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Louis Van Campenhout ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Tingelholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Blåränderna getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tommy Heggert hit a great ball. The Fox Hunting Squad fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Fox Hunting Squad's Louis Van Campenhout looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfred Tingelholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nic Adams in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna's Joakim Kielstedt got a free kick in the 88th minute. Blåränderna's Tor Edberg was substituted for Robert Pires. In the 89th minute, Joakim Kielstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
