Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darso Amiruddin in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Prutton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benji Corby got free with Theo Tauhid in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theo Tauhid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Whittaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Darso Amiruddin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dorking United FC's Isaac Prutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Theo Tauhid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benji Corby's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Benji Corby made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Donald Forrest hit a great ball. Diding Mudaffar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Sean Hollingsworth got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benji Corby in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theo Tauhid saved RED SHARK FC from getting behind. Dylan Pearce charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Pearce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Pearce. Darso Amiruddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Isaac Prutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, RED SHARK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jools Stamp came free, but Theo Tauhid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Darso Amiruddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Prutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dorking United FC booed when RED SHARK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kader Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Karl Fletcher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theo Tauhid showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. RED SHARK FC's Theo Tauhid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Whittaker in the 93rd minute of play. Isaac Prutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darso Amiruddin in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Dorking United FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
