Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romulo Lalla started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Roso. 9 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Fernando Pratto came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Remme kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Henrik Tjelle kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Cornelius Bjørgo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute Steve Triganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sondre Kråkenes to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Knudsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Raymond in the 33rd minute of the match. Cornelius Bjørgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AEK FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Juan Fernando Pratto scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth Knudsen, making the score, 1-2. After 39 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Eliott Pépin. After some careless play in the Santa Fe defense, Steve Triganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Sanson. The Santa Fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Sanson should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Sandvær was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Juan Fernando Pratto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Roso in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Knudsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Roso came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Kent Remme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Remme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Juan Fernando Pratto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Sanson made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Leonard Sandvær sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Juan Fernando Pratto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Roso in the 73rd minute of play. Silverio Sanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Remme, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Silverio Sanson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Santa Fe's Santi Ogazón was substituted for Rolando Madaleno. Silverio Sanson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by AEK FC's Kent Remme. But to his dismay, Kent Remme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 89th minute Santa Fe were awarded a corner. Juan Fernando Pratto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Juan Fernando Pratto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen did a great save. Kenneth Knudsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Raymond in the 91st minute of the match.
