The Esmeralda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 武汉菜鸟队's 曾凡谦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Calvino in the 6th minute of play. 曾凡谦 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrew Dalli went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, 周海源 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Andrew Dalli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. 曾凡谦 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, Eloy Calvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 曾凡谦. 武汉菜鸟队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Calvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 18 minutes into the match, Di Yong Yu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of 武汉菜鸟队's 曾凡谦. 曾凡谦 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 曾凡谦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zülfü Sungur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, 范升斐 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 武汉菜鸟队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeralda AFC the free kick. In the 23rd minute, 范升斐 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Devidatta Vendetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 曾凡谦 came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas. But to his dismay, David Banegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 曾凡谦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. David Banegas took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 曾凡谦. 曾凡谦 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. 43 minutes into the game, Zülfü Sungur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. 曾凡谦 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lê Yang hit a great ball. After the first half Esmeralda AFC were leading 0-11. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrew Dalli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 武汉菜鸟队's 曾凡谦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Di Yong Yu in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Eloy Calvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. 曾凡谦 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Eloy Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 曾凡谦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, 武汉菜鸟队's 曾凡谦 got control of the ball when Di Yong Yu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 曾凡谦 had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Andrew Dalli from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Andrew Dalli scored 0-15 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 曾凡谦, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when 武汉菜鸟队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. 武冰伟 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Calvino succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-16. In the 71st minute, 黄悦渊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd play minute David Banegas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 曾凡谦. 0-17. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrew Dalli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 曾凡谦. That made the score 0-18 in the 75 minute of play. Esmeralda AFC made a substitution. Nicasio Fonda replaced David Banegas. When 麦昂昆 fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 武汉菜鸟队's protests and gave 麦昂昆 a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes 武汉菜鸟队 got a freekick which was hit by 麦昂昆. Nicasio Fonda came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 曾凡谦 could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Yong Yu in the 84th minute of play forced 武汉菜鸟队's goalkeeper 曾凡谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 曾凡谦 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Dalli's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 曾凡谦 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Calvino in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, 武汉菜鸟队's 卓渊震 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 卓渊震 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 武汉菜鸟队 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 卓渊震 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of 武汉菜鸟队:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esmeralda AFC:s goal. 96 minutes into the match, Zülfü Sungur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 曾凡谦. 武汉菜鸟队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zülfü Sungur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-20. The 武汉菜鸟队 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Esmeralda AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
