Ntinos Kaliakatsos made a great header on Jose F.C.'s corner, it was just that Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville managed to reach the ball for a save. If Jonas Herz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Ntinos Kaliakatsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Periklis Pagopoulos came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ntinos Kaliakatsos to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris. Sepp Mainville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Themos Panagakis in the 54th minute.
