When Degerfors IF's Christian Håkansson in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sagarana Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Benedito Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes Sagarana Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Håkansson who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Degerfors IF's corner Christian Håkansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedito Trigo quite easily take care of the ball. When Rupert Dearden fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagarana Clube's protests and gave Rupert Dearden a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rupert Dearden hit a great ball. Éder Madureira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Sebastian Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagarana Clube. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Heidemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg got control of the ball when Yu Yang Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åke Fors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éder Madureira got free with Sebastian Sandberg in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Yu Yang Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sebastian Sandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Éder Madureira went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sebastian Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Madureira in the 54th minute of play. Yu Yang Sang took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Sandberg. Sebastian Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Yang Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Sebastian Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Madureira in the 68th minute of play. Benedito Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthon Eliasson in the 85th minute. Sagarana Clube's Bruno Salles was substituted for Éder Madureira. Sagarana Clube's Zé Roberto da Costa was substituted for Beto Heidemann. Sagarana Clube's Fabrício de Alcântara was substituted for Leonardo Pernambucano. Rupert Dearden kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Anthon Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Trigo having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Bruno Salles made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sagarana Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
