Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Quinteros in the 2nd minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Miguel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Errando came free, but Miguel Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Errando, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Faustino Lizar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro. Miguel Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute Raul Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Saul Errando made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Carneiro. Stars Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes in the game, Saul Errando dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 19th minute, Faustino Lizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Vieja Guarida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Veríssimo Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Vieja Guarida FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Emanuel Oliviero hit a great ball. After 29 minutes of play, La Vieja Guarida FC's Faustino Lizar made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Stars Academy's Alexandre Infante got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Saul Errando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Vieja Guarida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Miguel Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Quinteros in the 38th minute of play. La Vieja Guarida FC's Raul Quinteros managed to work through Stars Academy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Raul Quinteros dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Faustino Lizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Quinteros in the 41st minute of play. Miguel Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Raul Quinteros made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Raul Quinteros made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as La Vieja Guarida FC's Raul Quinteros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Carneiro. That made the score 0-7 after 51 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, La Vieja Guarida FC's Miguel Carneiro threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saul Errando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miguel Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Raul Quinteros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Carneiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Raul Quinteros slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Saul Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Faustino Lizar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miguel Carneiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Quinteros in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Stars Academy from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Raul Quinteros put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Carneiro. Miguel Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Quinteros in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, La Vieja Guarida FC's Raul Quinteros made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Vieja Guarida FC made a substitution. Elias Ereinotz replaced Saul Errando. Miguel Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Vieja Guarida FC played a much better game than Stars Academy and deserved their victory. The Stars Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
