The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dênis Laguna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Forssell in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Örjan Forssell made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dênis Laguna was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV had played much better football throughout.
