Mainumby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro Pagomari ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute, Luis Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of The Waldos booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Cucao was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Dionisio Acevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Dewulf. The Waldos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Amancio Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Waldos's Fidel Erdiano was substituted for 唐崇适. The Waldos's Leandro Millrick was substituted for Alvaro Pagomari. In the 79th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, The Waldos's Kazimierz Madajczyk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Nunez Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dewulf having to interfere. Francisco Dominic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Dewulf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Guaberto Cucao made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Leandro Millrick sent off a good shot on target. The The Waldos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
