Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elroy Snijders kicked off to start the match. Stephan Wielens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Maju made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Maciel in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in RB Chubut's zone, Oskar Vesterberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Maju came out of the goal and Oskar Vesterberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stephan Wielens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stephan Wielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Pelé in the 29th minute of play. Prospero Maju made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Maciel in the 34th minute. Gerrie Platvoet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Prospero Maju made a huge save. Stephan Wielens came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé. But to his dismay, Andrézinho Pelé quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Elroy Snijders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Andrézinho Pelé made the kick off in the second half. Prospero Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Maciel in the 52nd minute of the match. RB Chubut's Maximino Aimar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hans Terpstra in the 56 minute of the game. Stephan Wielens was a little too slow when Andrézinho Pelé got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Maciel in the 61st minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Prospero Maju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes De Horsterboeren SV got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Barchiesi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrézinho Pelé during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andrézinho Pelé kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, De Horsterboeren SV's Oskar Vesterberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Andrézinho Pelé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RB Chubut were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after De Horsterboeren SV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Sorin took the corner. Prospero Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Joris Zoetmulder came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the De Horsterboeren SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joris Zoetmulder couldn't finish the play. Valentin Baristo got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 81 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Baristo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elroy Snijders in the 82nd minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Prospero Maju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Oskar Vesterberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Horsterboeren SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Prospero Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Maciel in the 90th minute of play. De Horsterboeren SV were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
