Fernando Negro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Wei Yun, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Stig Bengtsson came out of the goal and Adam Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Negro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig Bengtsson having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicko Kličko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Griffin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Song Wei Yun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Northmen Army's Stig Bengtsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Seraċini Għawdxin fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Seraċini Għawdxin's Song Wei Yun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th minute of the match Seraċini Għawdxin got a corner. The Northmen Army's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Neil Degabriele ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Neil Degabriele almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Northmen Army's Stig Bengtsson did a great save. The Northmen Army's Stig Bengtsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Wei Yun in the 67th minute of play. The Northmen Army made a substitution. Jorma Jääskeläinen replaced Nicko Kličko. In the 76th minute Seraċini Għawdxin were awarded a corner. Neil Degabriele went to the cornerflag to take it. The Northmen Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seraċini Għawdxin the free kick. Olgierd Misiorowski kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Neil Degabriele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Best Štriker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Northmen Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seraċini Għawdxin the free kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Seraċini Għawdxin had played much better football throughout.
