Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Staniscia in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gonzo Style f.c defense, Aníbal Barca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Savenije. The Gonzo Style f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Savenije should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's Aníbal Barca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Savenije narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Firmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Mogel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Barca in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Savenije saved Gonzo Style f.c from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Aníbal Barca put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Savenije. Celestino Pes was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebrachitos FC's players had a chance to rest. Ciccio Giusto came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oscar Ekhi could save by the left post. Aníbal Barca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Savenije having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Barca came free, but Lucas Savenije reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Savenije having to interfere. Oscar Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Alberto Firmani sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute of the game Ennio Fino made a throw-in which Augusto Vieri played forward. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Ennio Fino with Augusto Vieri as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzo Style f.c's zone, Aníbal Barca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Savenije came out of the goal and Aníbal Barca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quebrachitos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
