When Lewis Hamilton came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Enzo Sports TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Hamilton couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Tomoioagă got free with Farid Mondragón in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yngve Bengtsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Kerry Sellers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Aaxiniei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Enzo Sports TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Sellers came free, but Anton Aaxiniei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yngve Bengtsson made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lewis Hamilton however managed to control. After 45 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Erberk Müftüoğlu. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Sellers in the 74th minute of play forced Enzo Sports TEAM's goalkeeper Anton Aaxiniei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Olimpiu Tomoioagă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, C. A. After a defensive mix-up in Enzo Sports TEAM's zone, Kerry Sellers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Aaxiniei came out of the goal and Kerry Sellers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Aaxiniei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerry Sellers, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Anton Aaxiniei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerry Sellers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The C. A. Independiente supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. A. Independiente would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
