In the 6th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Filipe Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dinei Pinheiro. The goal made the score 1-0. Filipe Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dinei Pinheiro having to make a save. In the 10th minute Filipe Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Casado in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Nascimento in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by SeleSantos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gui Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time Flamengo FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Flamengo FSCMZ's Claudinho Ribeiro got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's Filipe Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinei Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Gui Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro did a great save. The audience was convinced that Filipe Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinei Pinheiro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 27th minute of play. Silas Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niilo Mikkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match SeleSantos FC got a corner. Flamengo FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. SeleSantos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Eliseu Marquez scored to the left of an out of position Dinei Pinheiro, making the score, 2-0.

Vânderson de Moraes made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leif Törnqvist however managed to control. After 52 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Şensoy Peyam. In the 54th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dinei Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Nascimento in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Filipe Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a left leg Silas Carneiro saved Flamengo FSCMZ from getting behind. Flamengo FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gui Souza in the 70th minute. Silas Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niilo Mikkola's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Flamengo FSCMZ's attentive Şensoy Peyam managed to snatch the ball when Vânderson de Moraes made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Filipe Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinei Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Nascimento in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Flamengo FSCMZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
