Thanks to some nice moves Joris De Raeve could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Jimeno Nevada however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Joris De Raeve took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jimeno Nevada to make any attempt to save it. When Fredrik Terwenhout came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Limburg United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Terwenhout couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Naelio in the 34th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Club Atlético Magallanes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atlético Magallanes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
