The wind increased when Erivaldo de Lara made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Novaes got free with Romeu Gomes in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romeu Gomes had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcel Nascimento's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The corner ended in Claudinei Novaes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Shamans FC's Romeu Gomes did a great save.
