With his leg Cătălin Trică managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Club Atlético Burzaco's Fausto Arnau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Anton in the 36th minute of play forced Club Atlético Burzaco's goalkeeper Martin Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Dumitrache. After recieving a nice pass, Purcaresti CSS's David Zamfirescu tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Arnau was the one to do the kick off. Nistor Anton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Martin Celipe made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Fausto Arnau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cătălin Trică. Purcaresti CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Arnau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Martin Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Mazăre, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Martin Celipe came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Purcaresti CSS's Nistor Anton. But to his dismay, Nistor Anton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Radovan in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Burzaco's goalkeeper Martin Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Purcaresti CSS's Nistor Anton got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Burzaco made a substitution. Felix Tabby replaced Nereo Sesuldo. In the 86th minute Felix Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Trică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Trică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Arnau in the 89th minute of the match. Cătălin Trică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Purcaresti CSS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Burzaco.
