After some careless play in the Bassa Valle FC defense, Haider Baroun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Mazzocco. The Bassa Valle FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Mazzocco should have stopped the shot. AKTÜRK SPOR's Battal Gazi Acabay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save AKTÜRK SPOR from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bassa Valle FC's Camillo Prisco got a free kick in the 21st minute. Haider Baroun took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Mazzocco. Eugenio Mazzocco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Battal Gazi Acabay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Corna, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Battal Gazi Acabay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Forrest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Alonzi got free with Battal Gazi Acabay in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Bassa Valle FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AKTÜRK SPOR were winning 1-4.
