The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Águilas Poblanas's Carlo Ciolli was substituted for Tao Cheng Han. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolando Quijana was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Txindoki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carles Coppola was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Virgilio Txindoki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carles Coppola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xose Ruiz in the 92nd minute of the match. Alin Cristaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carles Coppola having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Txindoki in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carles Coppola saved Pitxu Dream Team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Armando Ucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitxu Dream Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Ucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Ismael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pitxu Dream Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
