In the 3rdth minute of the game Kent Jonasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rákóczifalva SE's Pedro Augusto Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Huvudstaden from getting a goal against them. Pedro Augusto Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Augusto Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Jonasson in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Szabolcs Hollósi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva SE's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Jonasson came free, but Pedro Augusto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Augusto Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Jonasson in the 15th minute of play. Huvudstaden were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Rákóczifalva SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrik Heggert took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Beniamin Wolicki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bengt Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Császár in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Kent Jonasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huvudstaden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva SE's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Jonasson came free, but Pedro Augusto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Eralp Sipahi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedro Augusto Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Rákóczifalva SE's zone, Peder Sarstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Augusto Salgado came out of the goal and Peder Sarstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flórián Gera to strike the kick off in the second half. Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Császár in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huvudstaden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vadim Spãtaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Rákóczifalva SE's players had a chance to rest. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Bengt Apelquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Szabolcs Hollósi made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Apelquist. Huvudstaden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With an all-out effort, Huvudstaden's Pedro Augusto Salgado threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kent Jonasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute of the match Huvudstaden got a corner. Rákóczifalva SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrik Heggert ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Huvudstaden's Vidar Ros to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Augusto Salgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Rákóczifalva SE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Huvudstaden were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
