Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Firmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Mr.Magoo got a corner. Team Rocco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pars Yılhan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mr.Magoo's Roman Gartzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Mr.Magoo from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper Roman Gartzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Olofsson. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Neves came free, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Gartzea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Olofsson in the 26th minute. Vincent Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Team Rocco getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alfred Samuelsson hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Pars Yılhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roman Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Vase hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Vincent Olofsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Roman Gartzea made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Team Rocco's zone, Denis Firmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson came out of the goal and Denis Firmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Serafin Pitin made the kick off in the second half. Roman Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Olofsson in the 51st minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Vincent Olofsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roman Gartzea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Göran Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Gartzea having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mr.Magoo's Baltasar Efraim got a free kick in the 70th minute. Guillermo Ulizes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mr.Magoo's Roman Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Unesson in the 74th minute of play. Pars Yılhan's late challenge caught a Team Rocco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pars Yılhan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mr.Magoo's Pars Yılhan got a free kick in the 77th minute. Mr.Magoo's attentive Pascual Ursino managed to snatch the ball when Osvald Fredriksson made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Team Rocco's Joar Bergfeldt got a free kick in the 84th minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Serafin Pitin sent off a good shot on target. Denis Firmo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Mr.Magoo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Team Rocco fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mr.Magoo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
