Rúben Trigueiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vadim Tudor. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Covaci in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Dragostea E.C got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Roberto Ceresso ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Zé Roberto Ceresso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar did a great save. When Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ciprian Alexe in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragostea E.C's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Dragostea E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes in the game Vadim Tudor got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragostea E.C's goalkeeper Rúben Trigueiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rúben Trigueiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Alexe, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Ciprian Alexe came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Minerul Baita -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Alexe couldn't finish the play. Minerul Baita -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vadim Tudor in the 33rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Vadim Tudor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rúben Trigueiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vadim Tudor hit a great ball. If Ionuț Vasiliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rúben Trigueiro came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ciprian Alexe. But to his dismay, Ciprian Alexe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Shearer was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Dragostea E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rúben Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Şantău in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Covaci in the 57th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Allan Shearer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Qiu Wei Ting replaced Allan Shearer. Vicente Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dragostea E.C's Vicente Marques got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Rareș Comișel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rúben Trigueiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Niculae Şantău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rúben Trigueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Vlad Tepes was substituted for Ciprian Alexe. In the 82nd minute, Vlad Tepes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 90th minute, João Pedro Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Qiu Wei Ting's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rúben Trigueiro was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rdth minute of the game Vlad Tepes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragostea E.C's Rúben Trigueiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Qiu Wei Ting made a precise shot to the right of Rúben Trigueiro. Dragostea E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Minerul Baita -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
