The wind increased when Esquipula Bouzon made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the EL PEPO FC defense, Esquipula Bouzon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Jon. The EL PEPO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Jon should have stopped the shot. Anastasio Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Anastasio Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Beltxe in the 73rd minute of play. Esquipula Bouzon might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esquipula Bouzon ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Esquipula Bouzon hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Noe came free, but Anastasio Eguerdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Mariano Noe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. EL PEPO FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because DeportivoIndependienteMDP had won, even though EL PEPO FC had held more of the ball.
