An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Santos in the 9th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fala Sério FC's Afonsinho Marques got control of the ball when Steven Homan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steven Homan was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melker Gudmundsson in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonsinho Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes in the game Reynaldo Martins did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vito de Salles. Vito de Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Yorrick Zoethout made a huge save. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when Fala Sério FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Melker Gudmundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonsinho Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonsinho Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Homan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Régis de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Pernambucano. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by SV Balverliefd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Fala Sério FC's players had a chance to rest. André Azevedo made a great header on Fala Sério FC's corner, it was just that SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 95th minute of play forced Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper Afonsinho Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
