But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Ibio couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the game, Templários MZC's Zula Marciewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doru Apostu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Doru Apostu came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Templários MZC's Zula Marciewicz. But to his dismay, Zula Marciewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Laze Gjoka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Dragoș in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Cosmin Dragoș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laze Gjoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Noel Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templários MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Furlan in the 19th minute of play. Templários MZC's Victorio Dimas suffered a concussion in the 23rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Mircea Robu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mircea Robu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Robu. The attack was good, but when Zula Marciewicz in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Doru Apostu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Marciewicz in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Noel Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Apostu came out of the goal and Noel Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Templários MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antônio Carlos Fernandes in the 40th minute. The supporters of Paralia Athens booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Ventura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Doru Apostu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zula Marciewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Doru Apostu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Marciewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Fernandão Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zula Marciewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doru Apostu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zula Marciewicz got free with Doru Apostu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Paralia Athens booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandão Pires to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Carlos Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Templários MZC's Laze Gjoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ibio in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Vicente Ibio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Templários MZC's Laze Gjoka. Laze Gjoka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Templários MZC's Laze Gjoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Dragoș in the 90th minute of play. Doru Apostu was a little too slow when Felipe Meira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Furlan got free with Doru Apostu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Templários MZC played a much better game than Paralia Athens and deserved their victory. The Paralia Athens players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
