Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sylwester Zima kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Sylwester Zima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Paulo Valadares was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Iker Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kara Melo in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Zima came free, but Zé Paulo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mabrouk Dolar in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Valadares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match GIOVANNI DZIADZIA got a corner. San Lorenzo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wojciech Kaczynski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's corner Wojciech Kaczynski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Paulo Valadares quite easily take care of the ball. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Iker Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kara Melo in the 22nd minute of play. Mabrouk Dolar scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Boruc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sylwester Zimas short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Zé Paulo Valadares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mabrouk Dolar in the 30th minute of play forced GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper Iker Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Kaczynski hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mabrouk Dolar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iker Boruc. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iker Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Mazuste in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kara Melo in the 38th minute of play forced GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper Iker Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Sylwester Zima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Paulo Valadares. That made the score 1-2 after 46 minutes of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Mazuste was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ezequiel Nesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Zima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Zima in the 66th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Lorenzo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wojciech Kaczynski was slow to take the kick. During this time GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's players had a chance to rest. Sylwester Zima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Paulo Valadares having to make a save. Stanislaw Glogowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zé Paulo Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylwester Zima kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Stanislaw Glogowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. In the 78th match minute, GIOVANNI DZIADZIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Glogowski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Sylwester Zima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Valadares came out of the goal and Sylwester Zima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Zima came free, but Zé Paulo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Zima struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Zé Paulo Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GIOVANNI DZIADZIA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Zima in the 92nd minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Mazuste in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Kara Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Lorenzo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
