Campus Douro Academy's Álvaro Machado quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dorian Quirino, made in the 14th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Aírton Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Bragança saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vedat Burçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
