In the 18th minute, Marcelo-Luis Butcher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 31stth minute of the game Gualterio Aguirre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonzo F.C.'s Moises Laurgain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfonzo F.C.'s Moises Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo-Luis Butcher in the 32nd minute of play. Rene Harman scored 1-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moises Laurgain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Aguirre in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Laurgain saved Alfonzo F.C. from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Alfonzo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valentim Leão came free, but Moises Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Aguirre made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Alfonzo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Aguirre came free, but Moises Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Rene Harman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The attack was good, but when Gualterio Aguirre in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moises Laurgain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Rodriguez's Valentim Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Laurgain having to interfere. Moises Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gualterio Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Aguirre got free with Moises Laurgain in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Harman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Laurgain having to make a save. 87 minutes into the game, Gualterio Aguirre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moises Laurgain. Gualterio Aguirre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo Rodriguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiley Boyle to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Rodriguez played a much better game than Alfonzo F.C. and deserved their victory. The Alfonzo F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
