Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Sági in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Gelacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Sági in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Venancio Griful hit a great ball. Sirod Rayadi made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Petros Mousa sent off a good shot on target. After the first half BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Sági was the one to do the kick off.
