In the 16th minute Helge Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Brun in the 34th minute of play. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Siöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the game, Eleven Nation Army's Hubert Siöberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wang Cheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingmar Östlund during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wang Cheng was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig-Arne Alström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 84 minute of play. With his leg Wang Cheng managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Eleven Nation Army's Olof Högström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
