The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Prospero Goethe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Alwege's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Hermann Luscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Fox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamal Roye took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geofredo Fox. Geofredo Fox dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 32nd match minute, Friesenwerdermoor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Mense to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Enoaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. North Port UTD's Geofredo Fox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Roye in the 42nd minute of play. Friesenwerdermoor's Ingemar Mense got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Prospero Goethe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Hermann Luscher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Friesenwerdermoor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
