The supporters of Diamond Crown FC booed when Ruquense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes in the game Adolfo Joseph did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Remigio Quirze. Bernardo Aguayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Quirze in the 23rd minute of the match. Bernardo Aguayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Quirze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Verzea came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Verzea in the 39th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamond Crown FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Ruquense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gernando Cardozo took the corner. After a rather tough play, Ruquense FC's Adolfo Joseph got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Diamond Crown FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Feliberto Tarin hit a great ball. Bernardo Aguayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilho Tikkanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. With an all-out effort, Diamond Crown FC's François-Xavier Dionnet threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Tarin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When Diamond Crown FC's Costin Verzea in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruquense FC's goalie prevented a goal. Silvano Bide's late challenge caught a Diamond Crown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Bide helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Ruquense FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Bide. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Verzea in the 58th minute of play. Cesinha Arósio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61st play minutes Costin Verzea shot 1-1, a short shot which went by François-Xavier Dionnet and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvano Bide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardo Aguayo. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. Bernardo Aguayo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Basilio Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. With 71 minutes on the clock, Cirilo Francesco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. François-Xavier Dionnet had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Artem Ustinov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Costin Verzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Verzea in the 79th minute of play. Artem Ustinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François-Xavier Dionnet having to interfere. François-Xavier Dionnet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Verzea's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Feliberto Tarin charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Tarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Diamond Crown FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Tarin. When Jerônimo Correia fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamond Crown FC's protests and gave Jerônimo Correia a yellow card for diving instead. Jerônimo Correia hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ladislao Lehen's late challenge caught a Diamond Crown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Lehen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ruquense FC's Ladislao Lehen got a free kick in the 96th minute. Costin Verzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruquense FC played a much better game than Diamond Crown FC and deserved their victory. The Diamond Crown FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
